Monte Cristo Records ist ein independent Record Label mit Sitz in New Jersey. Die beiden Gründer David Monte Cristo und James Michaels machen auch selbst Musik. Seit 1995 hat Monte Cristo Records 10 CDs, 17 Compilations und 3 DVDs produziert.
Die CD "Underground" ist dabei so etwas wie eine Best-of-Compilation der beiden umtriebigen Elektronik-Musiker. Ausgewählte Studio-Aufnahmen und Jam-Sessions aus den Jahren von 1995 - 2000 haben auf dieser Scheibe ihren Platz gefunden.
